Gagra<\/strong> is located in the region of Abkhazia, on the coast of the Black Sea, on the north-western border of Georgia, in the upper part of the country’s map. This unique geographical location, in fact, presents Gagra as “the beginning of Georgia”, which gives it a special significance both symbolically and physically. Gagra has a subtropical climate, beautiful coastal scenery and historical heritage, which makes this place particularly attractive. <\/p>\n

In 1992-1993<\/strong> , after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the restoration of independence, Georgia, unfortunately, suffered heavily from the conflict that developed in the Abkhazian region, which was related to ethnic tensions and territorial disputes. The armed conflict, which resulted in the deaths of many people and the displacement of thousands of families, left Abkhazia temporarily outside the control of Georgia. Nevertheless, the international community and most countries still recognize Abkhazia as a sovereign part of Georgia. <\/p>\n

Gagra<\/strong> and other regions of Abkhazia are an integral part of the culture, history and heritage of Georgia, and their return to us is a symbol of restoring the country’s territorial integrity. Gagra, as the “beginning” of the border of Georgia, has hope that one day our country will restore its own control over these lands, where peace and harmony will be established. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
